IELTS is a test of English for Academic Purposes and as a result, taking a comprehensive course that covers both the underlying proficiency and the test taking skills is the best way for students to achieve their learning goals.
Our IELTS/EAP course is designed to give you the knowledge, practice, feedback and confidence to get your best score and flourish at university once students get there. Each week the course covers test-taking strategies specific to the test, as well as general abilities such as academic vocabulary, grammar, research, critical thinking and writing which are required when studying at University in an English-medium institution.
Students who complete the full 20 weeks can expect to leave with a 7.0 - 7.5 equivalent proficiency. The course specifically covers the Academic (not General) version of the test. The course includes:
