Qualification Description:

It includes core competencies that cover essential skills for the construction industry, along with specialised training in wall and floor tiling. Tilers work with materials such as ceramic, glass, slate, marble, and clay. They cut these materials and install tiles on walls and floors, both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, tilers may incorporate decorative elements into their work.

State and territory jurisdictions may have different licensing and regulatory requirements, so it's essential to consult the relevant authorities to confirm them.

This qualification supports an Australian apprenticeship pathway.

Completion of the general construction induction training program outlined in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work is required for anyone in construction. Achieving CPC31320 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry fulfils this requirement.
